Casey Logue
Age 32
Director of Safety
Timberlake Construction Co. Inc.
Oklahoma City, OK

“In February 2009, Casey was appointed Director of Safety, a position that did not exist. Casey was asked by the company president to start a safety department basically from scratch. The first formal company safety meeting was held in March 2009 with 15 seasoned field superintendents (45 employees) who did not like change/want to change. Fast forward to April 2015, Timberlake Construction (25 superintendents and 75 employees) was recognized by David Michaels, assistant secretary of labor for OSHA, for completing the construction industry OSHA Challenge Program. Timberlake is the only construction contractor to successfully complete the OSHA Challenge. This is an example of leading by example.”
