Oklahoma City – The Oklahoma Department of Labor is hosting an “evolution of safety” video contest, asking employers, “What is your company’s safety and health story?”

The department is seeking submissions that reveal a company’s best practices, “inspire excellence” and display creativity.

Contest rules include:

  • Produce a two- to three-minute video about your workplace’s “evolution of safety.”
  • Videos should be submitted on a CD, DVD or thumb drive, or via email.
  • The video must be original and should comply with YouTube terms of service.

Submissions can be emailed to [email protected] or mailed to Safety Video Contest, 3017 N. Stiles, Suite 100, Oklahoma City, OK.

The deadline to submit is April 22. Winners will be notified by May 20. Winning videos will be honored June 17 at the 2016 Oklahoma Safety and Health Conference, and shown on the department’s YouTube page.
