Bryan Deemer
Age 29
DC LP/Safety Manager
Tractor Supply Co.
Franklin, KY

“In 2015, after serving his first full year in his new position, Bryan’s work site had the worst safety record of the seven distribution centers in the network. Bryan made it a point to be personally involved in all incident investigations so root causes could be determined and action plans initiated to correct unsafe behaviors and conditions. Most distribution centers in the network operate 24 hours a day 5-7 days a week, and Bryan’s was no exception. Bryan personally put in long hours (12 to 14 hours a day) so he could ‘touch’ all shifts yet was on call and available for any coaching he could provide for times when he was out of the building. By the end of the first quarter of 2016, Bryan’s building led the network as the safest DC.”
