Bridgette Gerl
Age 38
Safety and Training Manager
Schneider Bulk Carriers
Green Bay, WI

“Bridgette truly believes and exemplifies that safety is paramount in an organization. She has created a culture where you will hear people state ‘What Would Bridgette Do?’ when an issue arises. She sends daily messages to the operations groups with themes for a week to focus on. She develops safety competitions for our drivers across the organization and provides updates and recognition for achieving positive results. She incorporates the drivers’ thoughts to make the program more impactful. The summer campaign that is beginning will have a ball cap as a prize because the drivers would prefer and wear that over other options.”
