NSC presents 48 organizations with annual Industry Leader Award

Itasca, IL – The National Safety Council recently honored 48 organizations around the world with the agency’s 2016 Industry Leader Award for safety performance.

The honor is one component of the NSC Occupational Awards Program, which recognizes the outstanding safety achievements of NSC members.

“These organizations set the standard for safety by going above and beyond to make our world safer,” NSC Director of Membership Ingrid Schoen said in a Sept. 16 press release. “We are proud to recognize their efforts and collaborate with them to save lives and reduce injuries.”
