Director, Risk & Safety
Horizon Services Inc.

“Joe worked with our training department to revise the 52-week training calendar to include not just technical trainings but also safety topics, including driver safety, PPE, safe lifting and others. This has led to much better understanding of our policies and a much higher level of satisfaction among our employees. Joe also harnessed technology to identify our opportunities to coach our driving force to be better drivers. This has led to a 50 percent reduction in speeding across the fleet and an improvement of an average safety score from 92 to 96 in the first quarter of 2017. Additionally, the high-performing drivers are sent emails on a weekly basis and their HR manager, operations manager and direct manager are included in that feedback.”
