NSC, U.S. Chamber of Commerce to host forum on substance misuse

The National Safety Council, together with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, will host a half-day forum titled, “Opioid Epidemic: From the Front Lines to the Boardroom, Best Practices & Recommendations for Addressing Substance Use.” The forum, scheduled to take place Oct. 12 in Washington, will cover how substance misuse is impacting the business community – with an emphasis on addressing the opioid crisis – and will focus on solutions to improving access for substance use treatment in the workplace.
