Who is deserving of a Green Cross for Safety Award?

Do you know someone who has taken safety to a new level? Has your company created innovative measures to protect its people? If so, consider nominating them for an National Safety Council Green Cross for Safety Award to celebrate the progress made in preventing injuries and saving lives.

Recipients of these awards demonstrate alignment with the NSC mission of eliminating preventable deaths at work, in homes and communities, and on the road through leadership, research, education and advocacy.

The categories are Excellence, which recognizes an organization that has been relentless in its pursuit of safety; Innovation, which recognizes an initiative that ignited a new path and achieved success with a fresh look or new idea; and Safety Advocate, which recognizes a significant impact on a safety issue through advocacy that raised awareness or changed policy to prevent further injuries and deaths.

Nominations are due by Nov. 30. Winners are scheduled to be announced May 23 at a gala in Chicago.
