PHMSA reviews oil spill response, information collection

The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration on June 28 issued an advisory bulletin (.pdf file) "reminding operators of their responsibilities to review and update their oil spill response plans and to comply with other emergency response requirements to ensure the necessary response to a worse case discharge from their pipeline facility."

PHMSA also published a request (.pdf file) for comments and Office of Management and Budget approval for modifications to an information collection gas distribution annual report form.
