Minneapolis – The University of Minnesota recently released an online training module to educate agricultural workers on influenza virus protection.

The training, available for free, is one of several offered by the university’s Minnesota Center of Excellence for Influenza Research and Surveillance. The module discusses personal hygiene, personal protective equipment, vaccination and pandemic planning.

In addition to general influenza training, MCEIRS offers free training modules on the pH1N1 influenza virus and avian influenza.
