2012 NSC Congress & Expo preview

Join the National Safety Council and more than 12,000 safety, health and environmental professionals at the 2012 NSC Congress & Expo – the world’s largest annual safety event – for the Celebration of the Century! One hundred years ago, corporate leaders came together for the first safety congress and envisioned a national organization dedicated solely to the promotion of safety – the National Safety Council. Come celebrate 100 years of collaboration, lessons learned and progress.

This year’s event, which will take place Oct. 20-25 in Orlando, FL, will feature more than 130 introductory, intermediate and advanced Technical Sessions and more than 25 Professional Development Seminars for everyone from beginners to safety veterans. Attendees also can check out more than 850 exhibitors and participate in networking opportunities such as Rock ‘n’ Community:
Connections for a Cause and the National Awards Celebration Reception.

The show will kick off with the Opening Session, featuring Chicago’s famed comedy troupe Second City and keynote speaker
Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, the pilot who successfully landed a disabled commercial airplane on the Hudson River only moments after takeoff in 2009.

The 2012 NSC Congress & Expo offers a valuable opportunity to learn more about safety, develop professionally and interact with other safety experts. Measure your progress and continue your journey by joining NSC in Orlando.
