CDC seeks employers to test health program

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in collaboration with Emory University in Atlanta, is seeking (.pdf file) employers to field test a new workplace health program.

The CDC Worksite HealthScoreCard examines worksite health promotion interventions, such as programs, policies and environmental supports, that employers can put in place to promote a healthy workforce, reduce health care costs and increase productivity.

CDC is recruiting employers in the following business sizes for the initiative:

  • 10-99 employees
  • 100-249 employees
  • 250-749 employees
  • 750+ employees
Participants will receive a summary benchmarking report that compares their organization's worksite scores with aggregated scores from a national sample of worksites.
