CDC to spread emergency info via Facebook

Atlanta – The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention this week launched a new Facebook page to deliver emergency preparedness information to the public.

The CDC Emergency Preparedness and Response page is operated by the agency’s Emergency Risk Communication Branch. The social networking site will provide information on health emergencies and disasters, and inform residents of measures to keep themselves safe.
