Washington – The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee is scheduled to host public meetings (.pdf file) Feb. 6-9 in Alexandria, VA, to discuss various transportation issues.

Feb. 6 will feature a joint meeting with MCSAC and the Medical Review Board to discuss recommendations for future rulemakings on obstructive sleep apnea among commercial motor vehicle operators.

On Feb. 7-8, the advisory committee will meet to outline prevention strategies to reduce harassment of truck and bus drivers through electric on-board recorders, and on Feb. 9, the committee will discuss motorcoach hours-of-service regulations.
