EMS council to meet, discuss safety culture

Washington – The National Emergency Medical Services Advisory Council is scheduled to meet (.pdf file) Sept. 7-8 in Arlington, VA, to discuss a draft culture of safety strategy, among other topics.

NEMSAC, which provides advice and recommendations to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration regarding EMS, will host a public comment period from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. EDT on Sept. 7. People wishing to attend must contact the Department of Transportation by Sept. 2. Remarks are limited to five minutes.
