FACOSH to meet in December

Washington – The applicability of permissible exposure limits to federal agencies will be one of several topics discussed at a meeting (.pdf file) of the Federal Advisory Council on Occupational Safety and Health, scheduled for Dec. 1 in Washington.

In addition to PELs, FACOSH members will discuss the Protecting Our Workers and Ensuring Re-employment initiative’s end-of-year report and strategic planning for the charter period of 2011-2013.

Comments or requests to speak at the meeting may be submitted electronically; both are due Nov. 25.

Composed of eight members representing federal agency management and eight members from labor organizations representing federal employees, FACOSH advises the secretary of labor on occupational safety and health issues pertaining to federal employees.
