NACOSH announces meeting, committee openings

The National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health is scheduled to meet June 8 to discuss emerging workplace hazards and OSHA transparency and regulating projects. OSHA administrator David Michaels and NIOSH Director John Howard are tentatively scheduled to attend the daylong meeting in Washington.

In related news, NACOSH is accepting nominations for membership. NACOSH is looking to fill five new positions on its 12-member committee: two public representatives, one management representative, one occupational safety professional and one occupational health professional.

Nominations are being accepted until July 20.
