New OSHA publications explain worker, employer rights

Washington – OSHA recently published new materials outlining worker and employer rights.

The Workers’ Rights (.pdf file) booklet replaces the previous document, “Employee Workplace Rights.” Topics covered include rights under the Occupational Safety and Health Act, filing a complaint, whistleblower protections, and educational and training resources.

Employer Rights and Responsibilities (.pdf file) outlines employers’ rights after an OSHA inspection and the types of violations for which an employer may be cited.
