OSHA releases federal inspection program for 2013
Washington – OSHA on Jan. 24 released its annual plan for inspecting federal agencies, outlining how it will decide which federal establishments to inspect.
The Federal Agency Targeting Inspection Program directive (.pdf file) for 2013 outlines OSHA's procedures for inspecting federal worksites that have had a high number of employees with days away from work due to occupational injuries.
The 2013 directive clarifies previous FEDTARG directives for how OSHA develops inspection lists, and includes a new standard from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Forest Service.
