Rail safety group releases interactive quiz for school bus drivers

Washington – A new interactive quiz (.ppx file) aims to help school bus drivers with railroad crossing safety.

Released by nonprofit organization Operation Lifesaver, “Money Taxi” allows users to progress through the game by correctly answering questions on railroad crossing safety, such as the average stopping speed of large vehicles and how to interpret rail crossing lights.

Operation Lifesaver President Helen M. Sramek stated in a press release that all motorists should be aware that a bus driver must stop and open the door to look both ways at railroad crossings.
