Washington state offers free online office ergo course

The Washington State Department of Labor and Industries recently launched the last major module for its office workstation ergonomics course.

The online course contains sections on chair adjustment, workstation layout, keyboard and mouse placement, and monitor and document placement. Participants can take the entire course or review subsections within individual modules.

The department said it plans to add modules this year on laptop computer use, as well as breaks and stretching at computer workstations.
