Notable/Quotable

March 26, 2013

Occasionally, someone says something about safety I find noteworthy. In today’s post, a stakeholder decries the delay in OSHA’s silica rulemaking.

“This rulemaking started in 1997. It is now 2013. We still don’t have a proposal that’s been published. This is really shameful.” – Peg Seminario, director of occupational safety and health for the AFL-CIO, during a recent interview with me about the silica rulemaking
