Due to the federal government shutdown in October 2013, Safety+Health's article on OSHA's top 10 most-cited violations for fiscal year 2013 – published in the December issue – featured preliminary data. After the shutdown concluded, S+H sent a follow-up request to OSHA, and the agency provided updated and expanded data.
