Washington – NIOSH recently launched an affiliate program for its Total Worker Health initiative.
The affiliate program – which was announced July 10 and includes the University of Colorado’s School of Public Health and NASA as members – aims to integrate worker health protection and health promotion by partnering with public and nonprofit organizations.
Through the program, affiliates and NIOSH may conduct joint research, collaborate on seminars and other events, and create publications.
Participation in the affiliate program is intended for public-sector entities; labor organizations; academic institutions; federal, state or local entities; and nonprofit associations that align with the principles of a Total Worker Health approach.
