The Alcohol, Drugs and Impairment Division of the National Safety Council has named Dr. Richard Compton as the recipient of the 2015 Robert F. Borkenstein Award. Working for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for more than 35 years, Compton has contributed to research on human factors and action programs to reduce injury and death caused by alcohol and drug-impaired driving.
