Washington – The Chemical Safety Board is including Spanish language translations of some of its safety materials, the independent agency announced Nov. 20.
The move is part of an initiative to reach out to Spanish-speaking stakeholders. CSB has begun to issue press releases in Spanish and plans to offer versions of its safety videos with Spanish subtitles.
“One of my primary goals as Chairperson of the CSB is to ensure that the agency's knowledge reaches and impacts as many stakeholders as possible,” Vanessa Sutherland said in a CSB press release. “By offering Spanish language safety products, we are helping to advance that goal.”
