Washington – NIOSH is seeking input on a draft of its National Occupational Research Agenda for Construction, a document intended to identify the research, information and actions “most urgently needed” to prevent injuries and illness in the construction industry from 2016 to 2026.
“The revised agenda was developed considering new information about injuries and illnesses, the state of the science, and the probability that new information and approaches will make a difference,” NIOSH states in a Sept. 27 Federal Register notice.
The agenda is seeking to look into 16 different topics, ranging from falls and motor vehicle safety to Prevention through Design and musculoskeletal disorders.
The comment period closes Nov. 27.
