Seven out of 10 employers are directly impacted by prescription drug misuse among their workforce. To help employees understand the risks of taking opioids, the National Safety Council is offering free “Opioids: Warn Me” self-stick labels for insurance cards. These labels let medical professionals know that employees and their covered family members want to discuss the risks of prescribed opioids and whether safer, effective alternatives are available.
