Bilbao, Spain — Feeling stressed over the steady use of technology at work? The latest video from the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work’s “Napo” series has recommendations for your workplace.
In the two-minute video, the series’ animated protagonist navigates “typical simultaneous stressors,” including video conferences, calls, chats, and the use of modern software and hardware.
EU-OSHA says employers can minimize technostress among workers by:
- Incorporating early involvement.
- Providing needs-based training.
- Considering workers’ experiences when introducing new technologies.
All Napo videos are language-free to allow “people of all backgrounds, cultures and ages to understand and identify with him.”
