Get ready for National Forklift Safety Day

Washington — Forklift safety, operator training and the importance of daily equipment checks will be highlighted June 10 as part of the 12th annual National Forklift Safety Day.

The free event, organized by the Industrial Truck Association, is set to take place virtually and in person at the National Press Club in Washington. Participation is open to ITA members, anyone who works in the material handling industry or government, and end users.

“We understand the importance of effective forklift operator training, and ITA’s National Forklift Safety Day is meant to keep that discussion at the forefront year after year,” association President Brian Feehan said in a press release.
