Lansing, MI — Michigan OSHA is inviting workplaces across the state to take part in its 20th annual Take a Stand for Workplace Safety and Health.
During the event, set for Aug. 11-15, MIOSHA will dedicate staff to visit workplaces in an effort to strengthen safety and health efforts via one-on-one consultations tailored to each employer’s specific hazards and areas of interest.
No citations or penalties will be issued during these visits, but employers must agree to correct any serious hazards that are identified.

To participate, employers can fill out a Request for Consultation Assistance Form on the MIOSHA website.
