NSC aviation committee changes name

The National Safety Council’s International Air Transport Section Executive Committee recently changed its name to the Aviation Safety Committee. The broad purpose of this committee is to promote – within the aviation industry on an international basis – sound management principles of injury and illness reduction, aircraft and equipment damage prevention, safety management systems, public education, safety training and Safety through Design.
