Washington – OSHA has updated its guidance document on the enforcement of shipyard safety and health standards.
Effective Feb. 6, revisions to the guidance include references to new documents, updated answers to commonly asked questions about shipyard employment and incorporation of recently issued interpretations.
The agency also has updated a QuickCard tip sheet for employers of all industries on how to protect workers from cold stress. It addresses common types of cold stress, risk factors and recommendations.
