The National Safety Council recently announced a new partner for the Journey to Safety Excellence campaign: The Metal Service Center Institute will be sponsoring the initiative as part of a broader effort to improve safety in the metals industry.
MSCI and the National Safety Council have developed a unique safety program for MSCI member organizations focused on education of safety practitioners, safety measurement and continuous safety improvement.
“Workers are the heart and soul of every business,” Deborah A.P. Hersman, president and CEO of NSC, said in a press release. “By sharing the Journey to Safety Excellence with its members and beyond, MSCI will be working to help employees go home safely at the end of every day.”
