Itasca, IL – NIOSH Director John Howard is scheduled to take questions from stakeholders during a free webinar, sponsored by the National Safety Council, on Feb. 26 at 1 p.m. Eastern.
Also on the agenda is an update on NIOSH’s work and how the agency's research and various programs aim to benefit employers, as well as a presentation from NSC President and CEO Deborah A.P. Hersman.
Webinar participants also will receive an overview of NIOSH’s Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing Sector Program and Education and Research Centers. The Obama administration has proposed eliminating both the AgFF program and ERCs in its latest budget proposal.
Additionally, the webinar will cover NSC legislative advocacy efforts, and how safety and health professionals can get involved.
