Washington – The National Transportation Safety Board announced it will host a forum in Washington on March 27 to discuss distracted driving issues.
Forum panelists will include federal and state government officials, law enforcement, and academia and industry representatives. They will discuss distractions that compete for drivers’ attention, various distracted driver laws and the differences in how states have adopted restrictions, according to an NTSB press release.
The forum also will cover recently released guidelines from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on distracting electronic devices installed by vehicle manufacturers.
