Learning about hand-arm vibration syndrome: New resources available

Waterloo, Ontario — A new series of “posters and practical resources” from experts at Waterloo University is aimed at helping employers address vibration-related hazards.

The university’s Centre of Research Expertise for the Prevention of Musculoskeletal Disorders developed the resources in partnership with Laurentian University’s Centre for Research in Occupational Safety and Health.

The collection includes four webpages:

The resources are intended to “make it easier for organizations to strengthen awareness, improve assessment and implement effective controls in line with Ontario’s MSD Prevention Guideline,” a CRE-MSD press release states.
