“Chris integrates home safety topics into all employee meetings and monthly safety training. He also provides weekly safety briefings for site supervisors to share with all employees that address both workplace and non-workplace safety topics. Last year, Chris facilitated a safe driving campaign, which included personal pledges from all employees. Chris championed a program that engages managers and supervisors with their hourly employees using one-on-one conversations and feedback about safety on a weekly basis. This program has transformed the negative perception of managers and supervisors on the floor through regular face-to-face positive reinforcement of employee safety.”
