Last chance: NSC accepting nominations for Green Cross for Safety awards

The National Safety Council is seeking nominations for its Green Cross for Safety awards. Awards will be presented in three categories:

• Safety Excellence: In recognition of a corporation, coalition or organization that developed a safety solution that saves lives and prevents injuries
• Safety Innovation: In recognition of an individual, corporation, coalition or organization that has adopted an innovative approach and achieved evidence-based success
• Safety Advocate: In recognition of an individual who has made a substantial personal impact to raise awareness about a safety issue and prevent injuries and deaths

Nominations are due Dec. 9. Learn more at greencross.nsc.org.

Recipients will be honored at the Green Cross for Safety awards gala, scheduled to take place May 25 in San Diego.
