Kelly Mikkelson
32
Canada Business Unit HS Leader
Environmental Resources Management
Vancouver, British Columbia

“Kelly is the spark on the North America H&S team. She challenges everyone. She makes us think about why we became safety professionals and reminds us about our duty to employees, clients and contractors. Kelly is constantly looking toward innovation to ensure staff has the knowledge and competency to manage risk daily right at their fingertips. This was clearly evident in the chairperson role Kelly took on leading the Take Away team for ERM’s Fourth annual global safety day event in 2016, which impacted 5,000 employees in 40 countries and 140 offices. She made sure the event didn’t end after one day, but kept the knowledge sharing going for months.”
