Audrey Chennault

EHS Senior Consultant
The Chemours Co.
Pascagoula, MS

“Audrey led a cross-functional team to conduct an in-depth risk analysis to review and simplify PPE glove selection. This monumental effort led to several engineering and administrative controls, but also to simplification and consolidation of the PPE glove program, from 10 types to eight. The key initiative was to consolidate leather mechanics’ gloves, cut-resistant gloves and arc-rated gloves (used for operating some switch-gear) with a single multi-hazard glove that combined all attributes and provided better grip than leather when wet. Overall glove inventory costs were reduced by 30 percent. Audrey has leveraged her team’s standardized approach to PPE glove selection company-wide, via webinar.”
