Ichaya Dhungel
36
EHS Manager
Eaton Corp.
Raleigh, NC

“In 2016, Ichaya kicked off and led a multi-faceted ergonomics program that led to excellent results. The program started with developing our plant Active Release Therapy program, using industrial massage to treat conditions from work and home. This also led to inputs into our plant ergonomic assessment program. As we treated the condition, we tackled each work area to reduce the risks. She also used the therapist’s input to develop a stretching program based on our treatments. The program incorporates music and stretching activities every day and expects participation from all levels in the plant, including myself as the plant manager.”
