Lacey Kastel
31
EHS Leader
Owens Corning
Dallas, NC

“Owens Corning has started a homegrown hazard recognition and control process to be very specific about how hazards are eliminated or controlled. Lacey has led the hazard recognition and control process to eliminate risk and certify employees who were trained to perform risk analysis and ensure our work tasks have at least one level of engineering control or higher. Lacey engaged her workforce to take ownership of that work and the solutions that come from it. Lacey has been absolutely essential in the success of the Gastonia, NC, safety system, and this is only one example of her leadership for this facility.”
