FMCSA renews charter for advisory committee

Washington – The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration recently renewed the charter for the Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee.

MCSAC advises and provides recommendations for FMCSA on matters regarding motor carrier safety programs and regulations. The committee is made up of as many as 20 voting representatives from safety advocacy, safety enforcement, labor and industry.

The renewal went into effect Sept. 29 and expires after two years, according to a notice published in the Oct. 18 Federal Register.
