NSC Divisions extends invitation to upcoming events

The NSC Professional Safety Network, also known as the NSC Divisions, is pleased to invite all NSC members to attend the following upcoming events. These events are free for all NSC members.
Aug. 13: Join the Government & Public Sector Division for its quarterly all-Division conference call and webinar. Learn about this group’s current activities and hear a presentation on opioid use and how it affects public sector workers.
Aug. 15: Join the Construction & Utilities Division for a webinar on leading indicators and how to effectively capture them.
Aug. 23: Connect with the NSC Transportation Safety Division for its quarterly all-Division conference call. Hear what activities members are engaging in, as well as a presentation from Emily Whitcomb, NSC program manager, fatigue.
Sept. 7: Attend the Business & Industry Division’s September all-Division call, covering Division business and an informative presentation from Emily Whitcomb, NSC program manager, fatigue, on the “Costs of Fatigue.”
Sept. 19: Register to attend an educational webinar, sponsored by the Young Professionals Division and presented by Christian Powills, NSC social media specialist, entitled, “How to use Social Media Effectively” for tips on how you can make social media work successfully for your organization.
Sept. 26: Save the date for “How to make the most of your first visit to the National Safety Council Congress & Expo,” sponsored by the Young Professionals Division. If you will be a first-time attendee to the NSC Congress & Expo, add this educational event to your calendar.
