NSC announces Rising Stars of Safety, Class of 2018
Itasca, IL — The National Safety Council recently announced the 2018 Rising Stars of Safety – a group of future leaders dedicated to making workplaces safer. The 38 honorees have promoted a cycle of continuous improvement within their organizations and created initiatives focused on measureable outcomes.
“We are proud to recognize these young men and women for their noteworthy contributions to safety,” Deborah A.P. Hersman, president and CEO of NSC, said in an Oct. 5 press release. “Through their efforts, they are not only helping protect themselves, but also their co-workers. We applaud the dedication of these Rising Stars.”
The Class of 2018 will be formally recognized during the 2018 NSC Congress & Expo in Houston, scheduled for Oct. 20-26.
