“Stanley conducted several trend analysis evaluations, which showed an upward trend in unsafe acts, near misses, incident severity and incident rates concerning one of the largest sports and entertainment projects in the country. After identifying these trends, he convened a cross-functional team of 60-plus safety managers, superintendents and foremen to perform daily safety observation walks to identify and mitigate hazards immediately in the field. Since the team’s implementation, this initiative has resulted in a 65% decrease in near misses, 30% decrease in total unsafe acts and lower severity of incidents.”
