FMCSA renews charter for advisory committee

Washington — The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has renewed the charter for its Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee.

The agency published the two-year charter renewal, scheduled to expire Sept. 27, 2021, in the Oct. 2 Federal Register.

 

MCSAC comprises 17 experts from various sectors, including motor carrier safety advocacy, safety enforcement, industry and labor. The committee provides advice and recommendations to the FMCSA administrator about motor carrier safety programs and regulations.
