Itasca, IL — The National Safety Council is extending its partnership with the Board of Certified Safety Professionals to offer online preexam training through the Certified Safety Professional examCORE and ASP+CSP examCORE Connect courses from BCSP. These new offerings are in addition to the Associate Safety Professional examCORE.

ASP and CSP examCORE provide the background, knowledge and skills to successfully complete the certification exams. Each course includes an authorized BCSP calculator and six months of access to more than 40 learning modules, 1,000 practice questions and an e-book subscription to “Safety Professional’s Reference and Study Guide” by Dr. W. David Yates.

ASP+CSP examCORE Connect combines the examCORE ASP and CSP into one convenient and cost-effective program. This online, self-paced course provides in-depth information on each area of the ASP and CSP Blueprints. The training features a pre- and post-assessment, along with an exam simulation. ASP+CSP Connect includes an authorized BCSP calculator and nine months of access to video learning modules, 2,000-plus practice questions and an e-book subscription to “Safety Professional’s Reference and Study Guide” by Yates.

“Equipping safety professionals with the tools they need to successfully earn safety certifications is essential to furthering the safety field,” Kim Shambrook, vice president of safety education, training and services at NSC, said in a Jan. 21 press release. “The knowledge that comes from studying for these certifications will help protect our nation’s workers, and the council couldn’t be happier to partner with BCSP in this endeavor.”
