“Renee designed and implemented a paratransit operator training program for our First Transit division, training for nonconforming vehicle operators for First Student, trainer certification program and trainer effectiveness measures, covering classroom, behind-the-wheel and on-the-road training. This helped deliver a 28% reduction in paratransit driver preventable collisions year over year and a 15% reduction in paratransit passenger injuries. Locations piloting her new measures experienced a 20% improvement in first-time licensing pass rates, while also reducing training throughput time by 20% and improving driver retention by 15%. The improvement in first-time pass rate resulted largely from her analysis of trainer-to-trainee ratios.”
